Our organisational structure pivots around the HELP DESK. The Help Desk interfaces between the customer and Independent IT where on-line fault reporting is facilitated. The Help Desk ensures effective and efficient first line diagnostics and monitor escalation procedures. The Help Desk is utilised as a powerful management tool for our company to ensure quality control on all levels of service. A call registered at the Help Desk provides management with vital information on performance levels and ensures pro-active system development focussed on the needs of our customers.

 

TIME AND MATERIAL SUPPORT

Time and material support is based on an agreement with our customer for on site support. Guarantees are provided in terms of:

 

TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT

We are committed to the continuous improvement of the standard of training and development of our individual customers. Every consultant from our company is also dedicated to the on-site training and skill development of our customers.

WARRANTY SOLUTIONS

Our warranty applies to the replacement of all goods and hardware under warranty.

 

TECHNICAL SUPPORT

Technical support is focused on problem solving and determined by the meeting of the needs of our customer. Technical support consists of telephonic support and/or on-site technical assistance.

 

MAINTENANCE SERVICES

The maintenance service contract is an integral part of the negotiated contract with our customer to maintain all information technology.

 

ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATION

Communication is the key factor for Independent IT in maintaining information technology superiority over our competitors, hence the formation of the Electronic Communication Department which renders a comprehensive service in all dial-up, TCP/IP and software driven electronic communications.

The Department is also geared to provide full hardware and software support.

 

INTERNET DEVELOPMENT

Independent IT has recently launched an internet development department. The level of development can be seen by the look of our website (www.i-online.co.za) as well as the functionality and ease of use of our website. Our developers are of the highest standard, in their work history having worked on previous projects such as Ford Motor Company's Buyer Connection (http://www.fordjourney.co.za and http://www.mazdaexperience.co.za) as well as numerous other blue chip corporate clients.

 

NETWORK CONSULTING

Network consulting provides an independent assessment, implementation, strategy formulation and change management of data and local area networks in order to assist customers in their focus on Asset Management Control.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT

The Department renders a service in connection with cabling projects, all installations, software implementation, upgrades and other elements as required by the customer. The Project Department accommodates the Consulting Department in supplying a 24-hour multi-skilled support division through highly skilled computer engineers.
